| Registration 9am – 10am Contest 10am – 5pm $15 per contest – $50 for all four (pre-paid) Open Class Available for $5 as second division – sign ups for 2nd division day of event Ceres, Ca Skate Park April 22, 2012 (Sunday) Fresno, Ca Lions Den Skate Park May 19, 2012 Rancho Cordova, Ca Mather Skate Park June 16, 2012 Patterson, Ca Skate Park July 14, 2012 Registration Opens Feb 2012 The Central Valley AM JAM is a series of skateboard contests highlighting everything skateboarding. This will be a series of four contests with the series starting in Ceres, Ca on April 22nd, 2012, then continuing onto Fresno, CA May 19th. The next stop is Mather Skatepark Rancho Cordova, Ca on June 16, 2012 and then last but not least Patterson, Ca. on July 14 2012. This will also be the final stop and the top 5 overall points winners of each age group will be awarded Grand Prizes. Prizes are provided by sponsoring board shops as well as participating sponsors. At each stop the six age groups 9 and under, 10 – 12, 13 – 15, 16-17, and 18+/Open Class, Girls Division will compete in a four person 5 minute jam. With the top five highest scored skaters in each age group, going on to the finals and completing a 1 minute run to showcase their talents. If any age group has 25 or more competitors a 10 person final will occur to decide the top five winners. The age of skater at first participating contest will be the age group skated throughout series. Helmets are required at each stop for all ages. Points will be accumulated at each stop, and the top 5 overall point leaders in each age group will be awarded an overall Grand Prize at the final stop in Patterson, CA. In the event of a tie for overall grand prizes, qualifying scores from past contests will be considered must be present to win. The cost of each event is $15.00 or $50.00 for the four contest series when pre-paid** Competitors must follow the directions of CV Am Jam and City officials at all times. Violation of this rule may lead to disqualification from the event. Central Valley Am Jam Staff will not be providing skaters individual scores at each stop all that will be provide is points and standings via website. |
