Central Valley AM Jam New Contest Format and Info

The Central Valley AM JAM is a series of skateboard contests highlighting
everything skateboarding.  This will be a series of four contests beginning with a
kick off party and comp in Atwater March 13, 2010.  Then the series starts in
Riverbank, Ca on April 17th, 2009, then continuing onto Tracy, Ca May 15th.  The
next stop is Ripon, Ca on June 19, 2010 and then last but not least Ceres, Ca. on
July 17, 2010.  This will also be the final stop and the top 5 overall points winners of
each age group will be awarded Grand Prizes.  Prizes are provided by sponsoring
board shops as well as participating sponsors.
At each stop the 5 five age groups 9 and under, 10 - 12,
13 - 15, 16-17, and 18+, will compete in a four person 5 minute jam. With the top five
highest scored skaters in each age group, going on to the finals and completing a 5
minute jam to showcase their talents.
The age of skater at first participating contest will be the age group skated throughout series.
Helmets are required at each stop and full pads are required at  the Tracy, Ca competition
.
Points will be accumulated at each stop, and the top 5 overall point leaders in
each age group will be awarded an overall Grand Prize at the final stop in
Ceres, Ca.  
In the event of a tie for overall grand prizes, qualifying
scores from past contests will be considered must be present to win
The cost of each event is $15.00 or $45.00 for the four contest series when
pre-paid**Mini Ramp Comp not included in Maloof Money Cup Qualifier**
Competitors must follow the directions of CV Am Jam and City officials at all times.  
Violation of this rule may lead to disqualification from the event.
Central Valley Am Jam Staff will not be providing skaters individual scores at each stop all
that will be provide is points and standings via website
